| 摘 要： | 我国本科英语专业长期以来在教学中普遍存在重语言轻文化的现象 ,外语教学中必需重视社会文化的教学 ,提出文化同其它可知的知识一样 ,是可以习得的 ,还能激发学生的学习兴趣。文章论证了社会文化因素对英语专业本科生更好地掌握外语的必要性之后 ,还提出了一系列改进教学的建议

| Abstract: | Out of an awareness of the actuality of the teaching of the English to the majors, the author airs her own opinion that the English teaching attaches more importance to the language itself, neglecting culture. The author advocates the importance of teaching culture in the language teaching, and argues that culture can also be acquired and inspire the interest of the students. After proving the necessity of culture to English majors, the author proposes a series of suggestions for its improvement. |
