肯尼亚儿童早期发展的进步与困境

摘    要:肯尼亚儿童早期发展取得了不小的进步,表现为入学率有所提高、财政投入增加、教师素质提升以及社会对儿童早期发展重要性和科学性认识有所进步。不过该国儿童早期发展也面临困境,包括:政策和资金支持不足、教师队伍资质较低、儿童早期发展目标不合理和小学教育免费政策的负面作用。

Abstract:Early childhood development in Kenya has made big progress, including the improvement of enrollment rate of pre-school, increasing financial input, better teachers' quality and the society has better understanding of the importance of early childhood education. But there are still some dilemmas, in-cluding the lack of policies and funds, poor quality of the teach-ers, teaching objectives for early childhood development are un-reasonable and the negative influence of free primary education.
