论高职院校设计专业开设艺术史课程的重要性

在高职教育快速发展的今天,职业教育的特色愈加明显。区别于普通高等教育的培养目标使高职院校着重于训练学生的实践动手能力,因此在教学上有意加大、加强了实践课程的力度,而相应缩短和减少了理论课程的学时。但是,高等教育还强调综合素质的培养,尤其对于设计专业而言,学生的人文素养和艺术素养也是教学的重要内容。通过艺术史的学习,能够多方面地培养学生必需的审美能力,提高学生的审美水平,从而提高对设计的鉴赏和评价能力,达到丰富设计内涵的目的。

On the Importance for Design Major of Higher Vocational Colleges to Establish Art History Course

In the rapid development of higher vocational education today,the features of vocational education becomes apparent.Different from the training goal of common higher education,higher vocational education focuses on training students＇ practical ability,so in teaching,the practical courses are increasing and theory courses are reduced. But higher education also lays stress on comprehensive qualities, especially for design major, and students＇ humanistic and artistic accomplishment is the important content in teaching.Through the study of art history, teachers are able to train students＇ aesthetic ability and improve students＇ aesthetic level,so as to improve their appreciation and evaluation ability of design works,achieving the purpose of enriching the connotation of the design.
