近代中国人对西洋音乐文化的接受

近代中国人在接受西洋音乐文化时,首先关注的是其中器物层面的东西。他们能够接受陌生的西洋音乐,但往往又沿袭了中国式的欣赏习惯,以中国音乐作品和审美观念为参照,因此难免出现偏见和"误读"的现象。由于音乐教育的衰退或缺失等诸种原因,近代中国人尚无法在音乐方面与西方作平等的、对应的交流。

The Acceptance of Western Music Culture by Modern Chinese

When they are absorbing the culture of western music, modern Chinese, first and foremost, focus their attention on musical instruments. While they are able to accept unfamiliar western music, they tend to appreciate it by following the traditional Chinese way, i. e. by referring to the criteria for Chinese musical works and aesthetic values, which unavoidably results in their prejudice or misunderstanding. Due to the decline or lack in music education, contemporary Chinese have not yet been able to conduct equal and corresponding communications with their western counterparts in the field of music.
