| Abstract: | This paper dissertates that the period of Yuan and Ming Dynasty is the peak time in the development of Chinese literati painting.Traced back to two historical periods, this paper points out that one of the main trends is from "fine brushwork painting" to "painting of freehand brushwork", and from "restrain" to "ease", paying attention to both the techniques of using brush and ink, thus to provide a new style for the development of the latter. |
