Image Translation in Ecology Poetry and the Integration of Chinese and Western Cultures

Imagery in both Chinese and Western ecology poetry are heavily loaded with different cultures,and translating images should be placed in different historical and cultural contexts.Based on the theories of contemporary cultural and translation studies,we should re-examine the poems of the Tang Dynasty,the translation and acceptance of the ecology poetry in particular.In this way,we can re-evaluate the exchange and mutual influence between Chinese traditional culture and the Western culture.In the process of cross-cultural communication,with different poetic traditions,we need to adopt different translation strategies to achieve cultural integration through transmission,combination and co-existence.
