语法翻译法和交际法在大学英语精读中的综合运用

随着中国对外开放步伐的迈进,大学英语教学日益受到了社会的重视,因而亟待探索出适合我国大学英语教学现状的教学方法,以适应社会的需要。作者通过对我国大学英语教学现状的分析,简要论述了传统的语法翻译法与现代的交际法的优势和局限性,指出必须使传统与现代教学法有机地结合起来,才能在大学英语精读课堂上取得良好的教学效果。

The Integrative Application of Grammar-Translation and Communicative Language Teaching to the Intensive Reading of College English

With the China's further opening its door to the world, college English teaching increasingly attaches importance in the society, so in order to meet the society's demands, it is urgent to find out a teaching method which is suitable for the country's current situation of college English teaching. The author analyzes the current situation of college English teaching, and demonstrates briefly the advantages and disadvantages of the traditional Grammar-translation Method and the modern Communicative Language Teaching. As a result, the traditional teaching method must be combined with the modern one, which can bring good effect on the intensive reading classes of college English.
