关怀具有生物学基础,是一种基础性德性品质,是人的共生性的必然诉求,能满足当代学生的心理需要。因此教育关怀在现代教育中具有重要的价值,它是对学生的心理关怀、生命关怀和发展关怀。教育关怀品质的实现,关键在于教师,在于关怀性师生关系的建立,称之为教育关怀,它不是一般意义上的师爱,而是蕴涵着对话、尊重、理解、聆听和宽容等特点。现代教育具备关怀品质具有本体论和方法论意义,教育关怀是现代教育的道德向度。

With a biological base,concern can satisfy the psychological need of present students and it is a basic moral property and an inexorable pursuit of man's intergrowth.Hence,educational concern has its important value in modern education,showing concern to students' psychology,life and development.To realize the character of educational concern,the key factor lies in teachers and the construction of concerning relationship between teachers and students.Educational concern is not the teachers' love in the common sense,but contains dialogue,respect,understanding,listening and tolerance and so on.With concerning character,modern education has the meanings of ontology and methodology.Educational concern is the moral direction of modern education.
