齐桓公与晋文公的不同命运

齐桓公和晋文公皆非嫡长子,而晋文公的经历更坎坷;齐桓公假王命号令诸侯,晋文公则既要行霸王之实,还要行霸王之名;两位霸主征服诸侯都靠武力,但齐桓公则比晋文公更摆出礼仪的姿态;两位霸主皆任人为贤、心胸豁达,但齐桓公晚年却不听管仲之言,致使有惨死之祸。

Different Fates of Qi huangong and Jin wengong

Neither Qi huangong nor Jin wengong is the wife's eldest son,but Jin wengong's experience has more ups and downs. Qi huangong orders the dukes about in King's name,while Jin wengong intends to be the overlord not only in practice but also in name. Both of the two overlords conquer dukes by force,but Jin wengong assures more ritual posture than Qi huangong. The two overlords are both open-minded and appoint people on their merits,but Qi huangong does not listen to the words of Guan Zhong in his later years,leading to the disaster of a tragic death.
