| 摘 要： | 公元9世纪中期,拜占廷帝国内的毁坏圣像运动与唐武宗会昌年阍的反佛教运动几乎同时结束.这两场运动在本质上均为世俗政权与宗教势力间的斗争,但在以基督教教义为国家意识形态指导的拜占庭帝国,毁坏圣像运动并未动摇基督教在拜占廷社会的地位;而唐武宗会昌灭佛则带有文化冲突的迹象,它被视为佛教在中国发展的转折点.
