运用Java开发地理信息系统

介绍基于因特网的地理信息系统(简称InternetGIS)的设计思路及其实现方法,采用网络编程语言Java来具体实现此系统[2]·它的主要特点是图形信息与属性信息并重,具有丰富的查询功能,能够实现两种信息之间的沟通,使得查询地理信息更加方便、更加快捷;同时,本系统采用面向对象的编程思想,具有较好的维护性和扩展性·本项目还是一个可供浏览器调用的applet形式的InternetGIS,能够充分利用因特网的优势,提高地理信息系统的扩展性与利用率·

Developing GIS by Java

This paper introduces the design and implantation of Internet-based Geographic Information System(Internet GIS).This system is implemented by adopting network program language Java.The main character of this system is that the graphic information and the property information both act important roles in this system~ [2] .It has abundant query function,and it can communicate between these two kinds of information,which make it more easy and quick to query geographic information.At the same time,because of adopting the object-oriented programming design,it also has good maintenance and expansibility.At last,the program is an applet that can be called by browser,so it can make full use of computer network and improve the expansibility and utilization of the system.
