| 摘 要： | 词汇空缺现象是翻译过程中经常遇到的难题。导致词汇空缺的原因多种多样，本文主要从文化差异的角度来进行简单讨论，并在此基础上论述英汉语中空缺词汇的可译性及其翻译补偿策略。

On the Translatability of Lexical Vacancy in English-Chinese and Chianese-English Translation |

| Abstract: | Lexical vacancy is a recurring obstacle in translatiott, and is caused by numerous factors. This article chooses to discuss this phenomenon mainly from the perspective of cultural discrepancy, and tries to explore practical methods to deal with the vacant lexicon in English-Chinese and Chinese-English tranlation, on the basis of its translatability. |
