| 摘 要： | 中英鸦片战争后的20余年间,整个中国及其教育对西方发达的近代工业文明呈现出一种麻木状态.但在沉寂的表面之下,以林则徐、魏源、冯桂芬等人为代表的开明士大夫,乃至太平天国政权,一直在对接受西方工业文明、开展近代工业技术教育进行思考和探索,并从正反两面给后来的洋务派以启示,从而成为洋务派工业教育思想和实践的历史渊源.
