引进创新 走向一流——上海交大密西根学院的工程教育改革探索

工程教育改革是全面提升中国大学的创新人才培养能力、实现建设创新型社会目标的重要基础,交大密西根学院在上海交通大学和美国密西根大学的共同支持下,5年来,就工程教育改革的一系列深层次问题做了大量深入、系统的改革和探索,在国际化环境建设,面向创新能力培养的课程体系设计和面向综合素质提高的全人教育等方面都取得了很好的经验;学生培养质量获得了国际一流大学和社会的高度认同。学院的首批118名申请留学深造的学生中有111名被录取,且大多数被录取在美国前10名的大学。密西根学院的实践证明:明确的目标、志同道合的合作伙伴、双方信任的执行人加上适合引进人员快速成长的生态环境和制度建设是实施工程教育国际化改革的成功关键。

Introducing Innovation and Stepping into the First-class-Engineering education reform at UM-SJTU Joint Institute
