作为方法的汉文化圈,应当将域外汉籍作为一个整体,从东亚内部出发,考察其同中之异和异中之同,同时注重东亚内部和外部的相互建构.这一理念及其实践,一方面能破除文化帝国主义的权势,另一方面能打开民族主义的封闭圈.处理庞杂的域外汉籍文献,要将各类文献加以"脉络化",并且同时对"文本的历史性"和"历史的文本性"作双向关注.
