| Abstract: | The vocabulary has been a main obstacle for learners of English to improve English and raise motivation.The paper takes the cultivation of students'language proficiency and language ability as astarting-point to probe into the current situation and importance of vocabulary teaching in higher vocational college(HVC).By connecting with the author's teaching practice,the paper offers some means to improve the efficiency of vocabulary teaching. |
