本文对解放后中国大陆前30年（1949－1980）唐代文学研究著作进行述评，考察其成就与不足，总结经验教训，文章分作家作品论与文学史研究（含整体研究），文献整理与资料建设，作品选注与文化普及，敦煌文献整理与敦煌文学研究，学术论争与政治批判等几个方面展开，在横向考察中兼有纵向的分析比较。

A Review of the study of the literature of Tang Dynasty From 1949 to 1980

This article not only reviews the works studying the literature of the Tang Dynasty in Mainland China during the first 30 years after l iberation.(1949-1980),but also analyses the strength and weakness of these works so as to learn from them.The article covers different topics involved in the comments on works and the study of the history of the literature (including the study of the whole),the classification of the documents,the collection of the data,anthological annotation,culture popularization,the categorization of Dun Huang documents the study of Dunhuang literature,and academic disputes and political criticism.Together with the horizontal investigation,there is also a vertical comparison in the article.
