面向21世纪的清华大学体育师资队伍建设与发展探索

体育在清华大学“创建世界一流大学”的进程中,如何与大学“培养人才、科学研究、服务社会”的功能相适应?如何在继承传统大学体育功能的基础上为社会培养德智体全面发展的国家级优秀学生运动员,发展体育科学研究?要完成历史赋予的这些重要职责与任务,进行与之相适应的体育师资队伍的调整与建设就成为一项首要任务。清华大学体育部在学校领导的英明决策指导下,抓住新老交替的时机,利用10年时间进行了师资队伍结构的调整,完成了体育学科的建设,重新确立了体育教育在普通高等院校教育体系中的地位。

Construction and development of P.E. faculty in Tsinghua University facing 21st century

During the process of creating the world-class university,the most important task is to adapt physical education to the university's functions of talent fostering,scientific researching and social service. By inheriting the traditional university P.E. functions,another major task is to foster excellent national (student)-athletes fully developed in morality,intelligence,sports,and sports scientific research. To (accomplish) the duties history entrusts,it is all-important to carry through the adjustment and construction of the P.E. faculty. By the successful administrations of the leadership,the P.E. Department of Tsinghua (University) seized the opportunity of replacing the old by the young,and spent 10 years in adjusting the structure of the faulty,constructing the sports theories and reestablishing the position of P.E. in the university educational system.
