| 摘 要： | 探讨奈保尔的小说《河湾》的流亡主题。V．S．奈保尔刻画后殖民时代非洲丛林河湾地区一群流亡者的形象，如萨林姆，因达尔，马赫士，舒巴，惠斯曼斯神父，雷蒙德，耶苇特和墨迪，同时深刻地展现了他们所处的困境：不能融入周围环境，遭受置换带来的困惑。通过这些描写、刻画，奈保尔拓展了后殖民文学中流亡的主题。

| Abstract: | This article discusses the theme of exile in V.S.Naipaul's A Bend in the River about the central Africa area.In this fiction,Naipaul presents a few exiles' dilemmas of existing at the bend in the river in the postcolonial society,such as Salim,Indar,Mahesh,Shoba,Father Huismans,Raymond,Yevtte,and Metty.These exiles in Africa suffered displacement and confusion from their inability either to cultivate their own past or to merge more intimately with the world around them.Their dilemmas and experiences describ... |
