| 摘 要： | 多丽丝·莱辛的短篇小说《老酋长姆什郎卡》是一部具有自传色彩的成长小说。该小说通过展示小主人公——一个白人小姑娘的成长历程体现了殖民主题。在小姑娘的成长过程中,其父母、老酋长姆什郎卡和自然神灵起到了或反面或正面引路人的作用,对她逐渐走向成熟、认清白人殖民者对非洲黑人赤裸裸的剥削这一事实起到深远影响。

| Abstract: | The Old Chief Mshlanga,by Doris Lessing,is an autobiographical story of initiation in which the theme of colonialism is presented through the showing of the young protagonist's initiation.In the process of the little white girl's initiation,her parents,the old chief Mshlanga and the spirits in Nature serve the function of pilots that helps her to become mature and leads her to realize the white colonists' exploitation of the black na- tives. |
