语篇分析在新四级篇章词汇理解测试中的应用

摘    要:大学英语新四级阅读理解部分的"篇章词汇理解",是对考生理解能力及综合运用语言能力的一种测试,它不仅考查考生对英语词汇的掌握,同时对考生语篇分析能力也是一种检测。本文结合最新大学英语四级考题,从语篇分析的角度,对文章中出现的词汇衔接手段、信息重心及文章层次结构方面的语篇特征进行分析,拟说明语篇分析在阅读理解中的重要作用,以唤起考生对语篇知识及语篇分析能力的关注与重视。

Abstract:Section A of Reading Comprehension in CET-4 is a new way devised to test not only students' reading comprehension but also comprehensive ability to use the language.It shows that a good command of texts is important and the knowledge about discourse analysis is useful as well.However,up till now,enough attention has not been given to discourse analysis in English teaching and learning.The purpose of this paper is to show how important discourse analysis is in language learning and how helpful it is when doing such a test as in CET-4.
