On the Standardization of the Competition in the Government Procurement Market

With the deep development of the socialist market economy,a series of financial reform measurements has been put forward in China. Government procurement system, as one of the products of the financial reform, is an effective means for the guvemment to strengthen its management on finance expenditure, expand its supervision function, regulate its con- sumption behavior and curb corruption from the source. Ever since the implementation of the government procurement sys- tem, China has achieved good economic and social benefits. Of course, there are still many problems in the specific imple- mentation process. The inadequacy of the system has emerged with the increasingly fierce competition in the government pro- curement market. Therefore, how to standardize the competition in the government procurement market has become an issue in both theory and practice which needs further exploration and investigation.
