| 摘 要： | 汉英语言在交流中会出现的词汇空缺主要有:指称意义不同或不存在形成的词汇空缺,语用意义不同或不存在形成的词汇空缺以及言内意义不存在形成的词汇空缺,本文从文化差异的角度分析汉英词汇空缺形成的原因,阐释文化差异对形成两种语言词汇空缺的重要影响。

| Abstract: | In this paper the author presents the lexical gaps in the Chinese and English lexica through classifications and exemplifications, which, based on the theory of semiotic meaning, exist in these three aspects-designative meaning, pragmatic meaning and linguistic meaning, show that the lexica of the two languages are highly comparable as the result of great influence of cultural differences of two languages. |
