弗洛姆的"不从"说略探

在弗洛姆看来,"不从"是人类社会进步的基础和条件。不从是指对一切阻碍社会历史进步的事物的反抗。而要做到不从则需要拥有理性和自由,拥有高尚的人格结构。不难看出,弗洛姆的"不从"说有抽象、思辨和直观的局限,但其中蕴含的合理内核却具有超越时代、不断进步的价值成分。我们应批判其局限成分,吸取其精华成分,为中国的两个文明建设服务。

A Brief Discussion of Fromm's "Disobedience" Theory

To Fromm, "disobedience" is the basis and the condition of the progress of the human society. "Disobedience" refers to resistance against everything that hinders the advance of social history. To disobey reguires reason, freedom, and a noble character. It's not difficult to see that there are limitations of being abstract contemplative, and directly nerceived through senses in Fromm's theory, but the rational kernel implied in it bears the values that can transcend the times and can advance incessantly. We should criticize its limitations and absorb the guentessece to serve the matecial and spiritual civilizations of our country.
