奢香驿道文化与保护

明初,贵州宣慰使奢香京陵告状得胜回黔,面对朱元璋承诺"开驿传以供往来",遂以贵阳为中心开辟和整修驿道:东通偏桥连湖广,北过湄潭下重庆,西经威宁上云南,西北过赤水而达四川,在水西则置"龙场九驿"。"道大通而西南日益辟",以至明朝从湖广、四川、云南和广西四行省割地新建贵州行省。奢香古驿道为开发贵州立下了千载之功。岁月悠悠,奢香古驿遗山野,其中大多路段和周边遗物已被严重破坏,亟待强力保护。

The Culture of Shexiang Courier Route and its Protection

In the early Ming dynasty,Xuanwei of Guizhou ordered Shexiang to go to Jingling to file a suit.After winning the lawsuit,Shexiang promised to Zhu Yuanzhang that she would build the courier route.With Guiyang as the center,the courier route reached Hunan,Guangzhou via Pian Bridge in the east,reached Chongqing via Meitan in the north,reached Yunnna via Weining in the west,reached Sichuan via Chishui in the northwest.Longchang Jiuyi was located in Shuixi.Southwest benefited a lot from the route,thus Guizhou province was built with territories from Hunan,Guangdong,Sichuan,Yunan and Guangxi in the Ming dynasty.Shexiang courier route was valuable for the development of Guizhou.Nevertheless,due to its old age,many parts of the courier route and relics have been seriously destroyed and they need to be protected urgently.
