| Abstract: | There have been different opinions among Chinese and Japanese scholars about whether there exists contrariety in conception of literature between Liu Xie's Wen Xin Diao Long and Zhong Rong's Shi Pin. This paper is a literary criticism made by a Japanese scholar about this problem. The author hopes that this kind of argument will continue. |
