| Abstract: | The article probes from various perspectives into the artist Xiao Longshi's road of deveop-ment, painting style of gracefulness and elegance, and characteristics of local flavour and scholarlinesss. The fact that the merits of his works all originated from himself in combination with learning from nature and other masters and assimilating the Chinese Classical culture and keeping on renewing the concepts of creation of fine arts is all that accounts for his today's success. |
