| Abstract: | Nowadays more and more linguists are studying Prague's functional linguistics and Halliday's systemic-functional linguistics in China and abroad.Both of them study the functions of language.However,to our surprise,there are only few people are studying the language functions between them two.This article emphasizes that the language functions of Prague school are distinctive,but those of the latter are sociological,then draws the conclusion. |
