摘    要:《劳度叉斗圣变》是敦煌艺术中的主要题材之一。本文认为随着印度佛教艺术中国化的进程,这一题材经历了一个从印度的《祇园精舍图》到中国的《劳度叉斗圣变》的主题转变过程,它的出现、发展到成熟应与中国历史上的佛道之争有关。

Abstract:Illustration of Raudraksa's battle with Sariputra is one of the main themes in Dunhuang arts. The paper deals with this theme, and considers that the change of illustrations of Raudraksa's battle with Sariputra in China went through a long course. It shows that after Buddhist arts from Southern Asia, mainly India was spread into China, Chinese artists had changed them according to Chinese cultural tradition. It can be said that the changing course is interrelated with the argument between Buddhism and Taoism.
