隐喻与跨文化交际误读

隐喻是以思维为本源、以联想为基础的认知过程;同时,它又是一定文化的载体,具有鲜明的民族特性。文章依据隐喻的认知观和文化观,提出文化、语境和持续的张力感是隐喻导致跨文化交际误读的主要原因,并断言伴随着文化融合的日益明显化和不断深入,隐喻导致的跨文化交际误读也呈现逐渐减弱的趋势。

Misinterpretation of the Metaphor and Intercultural Communication

Metaphor is the source of thinking,which is the cognitive process based on association.Meanwhile,it is the container of culture with brilliant national characteristics.According to the cognitive and cultural view of metaphor,the paper proposes that culture,context and persistent strain are the main reasons leading to intercultural communication failure.It is also declared that with the integration of culture more obviously and deeply,the misinterpretation may be declining.
