| 摘 要： | 通过运用Fauconnier和Turner等人提出的概念整合理论从认知的角度对英语谚语的意义构建进行分析，旨在说明概念的合成是一种具有普遍性的认知活动，具有极强的认知解释力。以此，为英语谚语的研究提供一种新的研究视角和方法。

| Abstract: | Using Conceptual Integration Theory proposed by Fauconnier and Turner,this paper analyzes the meaning construction of English proverbs from the perspective of cognition.It aims to explain that conceptual integration is a universal cognitive activity with mighty explanatory power.On this account,this paper can provide a new perspective and method for the study of English proverbs. |
