元统治者入主中原以后，曾将北方民族的游牧狩猎生产方式带入山西地区，从而推动这一地区的畜牧饲养与狩猎活动获得新的发展。这一时期，山西地区的养马业与狩猎活动在特定社会历史条件下，形成较为鲜明的时代特色，且在社会经济和军事活动中具有重要的地位和作用。

Activities of Livestock Raising,Catching Fish and Hunting in Shanxi Region during the Yuan Dynasty

Having entered the Central Plain of China, the rulers of the Yuan Dynasty brought the production style of nomad and hunting of the North ethnics into Shanhsi Region and promote the new development in livestock raising and hunting of the region. Therefore, the activities of raising horses and hunting in Shanhsi Region formed clear epoch characteristics during the Yuan Dynasty and had important status and function. Meanwhile, other livestock and fowl raising in the region became necessary supplement in social economy and military activities. The article plans to discuss on the problems in livestock Raising, catching fish and hunting in Shanhsi Region during the Yuan Dynasty separately.
