| 摘 要： | 近一二十年来,美国大学校长一职面临着越来越多的挑战,与此同时,校长领导在院校的发展变革中也发挥着越来越重要的作用。因而,每个院校不得不重视校长的遴选。本文研究了在此过程中出现的新变化及其原因,探讨了过渡期校长的作用,阐述了过渡管理模式的内涵与实践中的问题,并提出了其中的意义及启示。

| Abstract: | During the recent ten or twenty years, the presidency in American higher education is facing more and more challenges. Meanwhile, it is more and more important for institutes to develop smoothly and to cope with the demands of changing circumstances. Therefore, every institute has to think much of leadership transition. This paper studies the new trend in presidential transition in American colleges and universities, and its reasons, and probes into the roles of interim presidents, and expounds the connotation of the model of transition management and its problems in practice. At last, this paper puts forward its meaning and revelation for our colleges and universities. |
