| Abstract: | There are similarities and differences between Chinese and Japanese culture. The author intends to explore them from the angle of translation. The exploration is made by analysing the characteristics of Japanese short poem composed of 17 syllables in its 3rd and 5th and 53rd sentences and also by comparing its Japanese version with Chinese translation. |
