| 摘 要： | 选取加拿大著名诗人E．J．普拉特的意象诗四首，用欧美新批评的细读法以及“悖论”、“隐喻”等概念，对其予以初步探索。以期通过对这几首短诗的细读与研究，窥探到普拉特意象诗创作的一些风格特点，弥补我国在普拉特其人其诗研究上的空白。

| Abstract: | This thesis uses close reading and the concepts such as paradox and metaphor brought forward by New Criticism, to make a preliminary study on the four imagery poems by E. J. Prat, a famous Canadian poet. From the close reading and the studies of these poems, this paper looks forward to find out some characteristics in E. J. Pratt ＇ s imagery poems and fill up the research gaps in the studies of Pratt and his poetry in our country. |
