| 摘 要： | 在当今频繁的英汉文化交流中，无论是英译汉，还是汉译英都出现了数不尽的令人遗憾的错误，尤其是习语的翻译。原因在于习语容易使人望文生义，而很多译者在没有仔细弄清楚英汉习语之间差异的情况下，凭主观行事，造成误译。本文从英汉的习语出发，尝试从中分析英汉之间的差异，并希望能在翻译实践中起指导作用。

| Abstract: | Under the frequent exchanges of cultures between China and English - speaking countries, there exist a lot of regretting translations, especially in the translation of idioms. Translators tend to neglect the sources of idioms, as a result, mistranslated texts are seen everywhere. This paper analyzes the differences between idioms in Chinese and English, and provides guidance for translating activities. |
