| Abstract: | The chief reasons for the boom of ideological essays since the 1990s are as follows: improvement of ecological environment for literary creation, cultural prosperity in the 1980s and the heated discussion on the humanistic spirit in the early 1990s, the republication of large quantities of essays written in the 1920s and 1930s, and readers' refusal of hypocritical lyric essays. |
