| Abstract: | Langer's theory, which advocates that music is the symbol of feelings, plays an important role in the twentieth century. At the philosophical vantage point, she elaborated the following issues: the feelings of music, the imaginary aspect of music, the instinctive aspect of music, and the relation between the content and form, which demonstrates her solid theoretical foundation and unique perspectives on musical philosophy.
