新形势下高等学校英语教师职业发展研究——海南省高等学校英语教师职业状况调查及思考

问卷调查研究发现，海南省三所高等学校英语教师师资结构不甚合理、教师自我效能感较强，多媒体网络教学环境下同时面临新的困难与挑战，如工作量与科研任务、薪酬制度、人力资源的合理利用、学业提升和职业发展等。海南省高校教师应结合新形势下本地实际谋求自身发展。

A Research on the Career Development of College English Teachers ----Based on the Surveys on Three Colleges in Hainan Province

Based on the surveys on the teachers from three colleges and universities in Hainan, The study shows that the structure of the college English teachers are not reasonable while their senses of self - efficacy are strong. With the increasing use of multimedia and the internet assisting teaching methods college English teachers may have to face with new difficulties and challenges such as the workload and the research task ,salary system ,human resources ,degrees or certificates and career development. Therefore college English teachers should develop their career based on the current new situation.
