| 摘 要： | 如果说山姆·谢泼德早期作品是一场戏剧实验的话，那么其后期的家庭剧就是他风格趋于稳定的成熟之作，其戏剧语言凝练、易懂，充满了现实主义的反思和丰富的人文情怀，与其早期超现实主义色彩截然不同。对其后期作品中舞台、人物及情节的分析，可以更全面的理解谢泼德的戏剧创作和当时的美国剧坛。

| Abstract: | Sam Shepard is one of the most influential writers in modem American theater. If his early works are a series of dramatic experiments, his later family plays could be acknowledged as mature ones with steady style, accessible language, realistic reflection and rich humane care. This article aims to analyze the dramatic style for the purpose of better understanding his playwriting and contemporary American theater. |
