语境与语用研究

对语境和语用的研究是当今语言研究的一个重要课题。本文研究语境的方法是立 足于语言本身。在分析了语言学家们对语境的各种理解的基础上，把语境分为两大类：语言语境和非语言语境；探讨了语境与语用的关系；讨论了语境对语用的主要作用。文章认为：语境是语用的基础，语用离不开语境，语用与语境的关系既像基脚与高楼的关系，又像一对连体双胎，密不可分。

On Context and the Use of Language

The study of context and the use of language is an important job today in the field of language research. The paper looks into context from the angle of language research. It analyses some different interpretations of context and then comes to its own point that context may be classified under two types: linguistics context and non linguistics context. It discusses the relationship between context and the use of language, and then it explores two major pragmatic functions of context. Finally the paper comes to the conclusion that context and the use of language are closely related to each other. Context is the base of the study of pragmatics. In other words, context to pragmatics is what the base is to a mansion. To a great extent, they are like twins, which are inseparable.
