| Abstract: | Starting with the restricted view on the culture awareness of the major students in English faculty, the paper discusses the essentialsand the extensions of the culture. It also puts the idea forward that the majorstudents should have the native-culture-standard awareness, and construct the culture information and communicative competence, so that they can have the harmonious cross-cultural communication. |
