高职高专专门用途英语课程设置需求分析

Needs Analysis on ESP Curriculum Setting in Vocational Colleges

The higher occupation education reform is imperative.Foreign language teaching in vocational colleges gradually shifts the focus to ESP.Through studying domestic and international relevant literature on ESP to conclude that ESP curriculum setting has great influence on orientation of higher vocational English teaching.It is emphasized that setting ESP curriculum in higher vocational colleges is necessary and feasible.Hope ESP teaching can get attention and make ESP teaching in higher vocational colleges become the theme,which aims to promote ESP as the focus of the reform of English teaching.
