努力营造环境,促进英语习得

新世纪伊始,《光明日报》曾展开过“小学英语课该怎么开?”的专题讨论有人认为:语言习得与语言学得截然不同,中国不存在英语习得环境;也有人认为:语言习得与语言学得实质是一回事,无须对此烦神。笔者认为:语言习得与语言学得存在着一定的差别,我们应当努力营造环境,促进英语习得。

On Creating Proper Environment To Facilitate English Acquisition

At the beginning of this century, Guangming Daily initiated the discussion: How to Conduct English Lessons in Primary School? Some hold that there is an ocean of differences between language acquisition and language learning and that there is no English acquisition environment in China while others contend that there is no differences whatsoever between language acquisition and language learning. The author of this thesis advocates that language acquisition differs from language learning in that the former emphasizes an unintentional effortless way of taking in a language while the latter focuses on an international way to achieve the same purpose. Such being the case, we should try to create proper environment to facilitate English acquisition.
