| Abstract: | Si Maguang is a famous historian, politician and writer of official documents in the North Song Dynasty. His zhazi（a kind of political essay to give suggestions to the emperor, the former style of zouzhang）sheds light on the political upheavals and historical turbulences of the court of the North Song Dynasty, forming one of the crucial sources in terms of the research of historical evolution of the time. Through the study of Si Maguang＇s zhazi, this thesis gives an analysis of the emergence, development and features of zhazi as well as the unique characteristics of Si Maguang＇s zhazi. |
