| 摘 要： | 本文透过美国“反恐”宣传的种种表现 ,论述了传统新闻理念所遇到的困惑 ,以及媒介与政府难解难分的关系 ,从而说明美国新闻事业并不是政府独立的“第四势力” ,媒体作为国家的一个部门或一种行业 ,在社会系统中发挥重要作用。所以它也无所谓“客观、公正、自由” ,人们数百年来所认定的传统新闻理念只是一种“迷思”。

| Abstract: | Looking into expressions of anti-terrorism reporting in the United States,the article discusses puzzles traditional news concepts have encountered and the inextricably linked relation between the media and the government.It concludes that the US journalism is not the fourth power independent of the government.It is only one part of the government and plays an important role in the society. |
