不同的文化背景与不同的思想路数——因明与名辩学的比较

古印度因明与中国古代名辩学同是世界三大逻辑体系之一,它们都产生于论辩之中。在保证论证有效性上,因明与名辩学具有共性,这是它们同属于思维工具学科的前提。但不同的历史文化背景,使这两种思维工具系统产生与发展的思想路数不同,目的不同,思维方法不同。因此,有必要在研究方法上,注重历史分析与文化诠释的方法,探讨因明与名辩学的“是什么”和“为什么”。从而充分认识它们内在的、独有的特质,是古代文化的有机组成部分,具有不同文化发展的整体特征。

Different Cultural Backgrounds and Different Thought Approaches——Comparison between the Yinming and the Nominalistic Doctrine

The ancient Indian Yinming and the ancient Chinese Nominalistic doctrine are both one of the three logical systems in the world.They are both developed from argument.The common aim of the Yinming and the Nominalistic doctrine is to guarantee the validity of the argument,which is the premise that they belong to the thinking tools subject.But the developmental thinking approach and aim of these two thinking tools systems are different because of the different cultural backgrounds.So it is necessary to pay more attention to historical analysis and cultural explanations and to inquire the 'what is it' and 'why' problem of the Yinming and the Nominalistic doctrine.The internal and unique feature of them is the organizing part of ancient culture,which has different total characteristics of the development of different culture.
