对大学英语阅读教学的思考

摘    要:外语学习过程是程序性知识的掌握过程,是学生不断应用与练习的过程。学生英语阅读水平的提高不是靠教师大量的课文分析和词汇讲解所能达到的,应在科学理论的指导下,进行大量阅读,从而使理解能力、词汇量、阅读速度与技巧不断提高。

Abstract:In the process of ESL learning,many factors function to influence learner's achievement.Among them,practice is viewed as one of the most important determinators for success and failure.Under teacher's instruction,students can learn a lot of language knowledge,but it doesn't mean they can use it fluently.Only by practice,can they improve their language ability.Reading is very important in ESL learning.By reading several articles on similar topic,students can repeatedly learn a lot of words in a certain field,learn the target culture and improve their reading ability.
