The Differentiation of Peasant Economy of England 1350～1640

The paper discusses deeply the differentiation of peasant economy of England from 1350 to 1640. It questions directly the classical model of social polarization led by the commercialization about the differentiation of English peasantry, and points out that the model simplifies its complication; it expounds and proves that different elements have functioned to the peasant economy in many ways, and resulted the appearance of the different types of differentiation in England; it considers that it is proper to combine those elements, including the long trend of population change, the family-cycle of demographic change, and the market-orientated production, to investigate the historical differentiation of peasant economy during this period.
