| Abstract: | The linguistic communicative theory is the most influential theory in Pragmatics. The research of modern linguistic communication has a history of more than ten decades. This paper summarizes mainly the development of the linguistic communicative theory in that long years of history and expounds the theoretical basis of each theory in this developmental locus. |
